Our internships and resident programs are designed to jump-start the careers of talented journalists, from undergraduates to entry-level professionals. Requirements vary, but each program offers invaluable exposure, specialized training and personal career development to beginners committed to print journalism. Good for UsInternships and residencies are also good for our company and the newspaper industry. We appreciate new ideas and are committed to building a staff that is diverse in every way. Internships allow us to add to the existing mix of perspectives and skills in our newsroom. No matter where our interns pursue their careers, the result is an investment in quality journalism. We usually offer three types of programs, although at the present time, The Blethen Family Internships for Minority Journalists are on hiatus:
