Under a Joint Operating Agreement (JOA), The Seattle Times Company's New Media department also manages the sales and marketing for seattlepi.com.

Combined, our Seattle Times Company network of Web sites delivers more than 40 million page impressions each month, reaching more than one million unique visitors. In addition to the core Web sites, the New Media department is charged with exploring new methods of distribution of news and information through technology.
